Ikes Wake

On September 13, 2008,Hurricane Ike went through Texas and destroyed many things.FEMS, the organization that helps natural disaster victims, had a policy that demended that you needed top use either a phone or a computer in order to get benefits from FEMA.A congressman recently had the idea to help people whose computers and phones were destroyed to get help.He was able to get computers and phones donated to disaster victums so that they could get their benefits.Our government relies heavily on technology now-a-days.We can be aware of new technologies by reading about them in magazines,watching the news,and using our computer to search for information on them.America can help people of natural disasters by using helicopters,motorboats,and many other newly improved or invented water/air craft.
