Holographics-In Your Home?

A new scientific breakthrough has renewed peoples' belief in one day having 3-D television inside their home. The reason for all of this fuss is the fact that some researchers at the University of Arizona have created the first updatable three-dimensional displays with memory. This isn't quite ready for a 3-D picture,forget about a show or movie, but it is the first step in the creation of one that is, says Dr. Nasser Peyghambarian who is the chair of electronics and lasers at the University of Arizona. He also says that they are now starting to improve it, from showing a single color to showing three and so on. He says that they have mastered the first, and most difficult, step in this proccess of making 3-D tv sets.
